Great sausage burgers and chili dogs. Love the customer service here too. They are super nice and friendly! Highly recommended!

Mike's is the best in the area! Good food, great people every time we go there.

Been going to this place for 57 years and I love it. I always have liked their dog sauce even on a cheese burger with fried onions and ketchup. Occasionally a couple of dogs all the way and a small order of fries makes my day.

Can't not but want to be here... Great Dogs and Steak Sandwiches. A must stop place, this is a classic quick bite destination in Schenectady. Cash Only folks. but there is an ATM on site.

Exactly what I expected! I had 2 great hot dogs and some fresh cut fries in a well worn, luncheonette style joint. Absolutely perfect,I'm planning on going back tomorrow!

A Schenectady must-have at any time of day. The french fries are homemade and fried crispy as well.

It's a Mom and Pop shop which is awesome! Cash only! They serve a pretty good hot dog, not the best I've had but certainly not the worst. It was on the spicy side which I enjoyed. I would have given them 4 stars but the hot dogs are over priced at $2.40 each, that's way too much for a simple hot dog with everything as seen in the photo. Would I go back? Yes I might if I was in the area again, however, I don't think I'd go out of my way.

Absolutely amazing years ago and still. A must stop for any warm blooded American who eats food. Burgers, fries, shakes, all excellent and served in a timely and friendly fashion. Thanks guys, 10/10

One really great Schenectady tradition sits right here on Erie Boulevard in this, The Electric City! The hot dogs are delicious, whether topped with standard pickle relish and mustard, or go "all the way" with Mike's Hot Dogs Meat Sauce (fantastic!)... onion rings are fabulous... one note to the uninitiated, this is a cash-only business, no credit or debit cards. Prices are fabulous, too! So good... a tradition, a landmark, it's just down-home Schenectady.

Food was alright. But when I went to pay my tab with my card, the waitress said " I'm sorry. We're old school here. We don't take those. But there's an ATM over there you can use." When I went to use it, another waitress said, "That doesn't work, but there's one at the Stewart's across the way." I ended up leaving my sister there as a hostage and went to the bank to get cash. There were no signs anywhere that said "Cash Only!" Probably won't go back there.

It's not bad but not like it was before...at one time they advertise d First Prize hot dogs and saw other ones used I never heard of...alot of times service was not good

Awesome breakfast, found out you can use these syrups for sausage dips

Old time greasy spoon. Great hot dogs, cheeseburgers and sausage and peppers. It is a Sch'dy landmark. Great place to eat before going to Rivers casino.

This place had great food and great service. We went on Halloween and they even handed out candy to my son. Excellent food as well.

If they'd offer an extra spicy version of their sauce, it'd be perfect! I wanna see some steam! Very good dogs at an Erie Blvd landmark.

Something about this place is magic. Something about the liquid cheeseburgers and large cups of mountain dew make me forget how I hate my life and how big of a failure I am. If a 1.99 burger can do that, it's magic. Mike's is probably the finest dining establishment in Schenectady. They have a phone booth for the love of the gods.

Food is delicious, gets cooked quickly & right in front of you, staff is friendly, prices are good. Just be sure to bring cash as they don't accept cards. That's the only downfall. They have an ATM machine, but we all know how much those things charge!

Menu items always available no matter the time. Always clean. Fresh food. Friendly environment.

Love this place for what it is. Been going here since I was a kid. If your looking for a great hotdogs and meat sauce or a super thin delicious burger you cant go wrong. Excellent breakfast also and cant beat the prices.

Wait staff was excellent. Food was quick to order. Hot dog was a 3 out of 5, personally. But, loved the burger. Should of got two! Would come back if I was in the area.

Looks ugly from outside .But inside is clean and the food is great and inexpensive ..def gonna go back

I can't believe I have never written a review on Mike's. So some background....I am the 3rd of 4 generations to be a regular at Mike's. It doesnt matter how long I'm gone for or why I'm back in town .Mike's and Oliver's are the only places to never be missed in my visits back. The place is essential to anyone traveling or living in the Schenectady area. It's one of the locations that is as rich in history as it is in Greek hot dog sauce. The only way to order your dog is "all the way" and the chz burgers with sauteed onions along with the fries are a must. Please do yourself a favor and go here when in the area...I promise u wont be disappointed.

Real old-school spot. Small menu -- burgers, dogs, fries, gyros and some breakfast options but everything is made to order and delicious. Cash only, so bear that in mind, but a real solid place for a quick, hearty breakfast or lunch.

The best hot dog with the works I've had in a long time. The meat sauce had just the right kick to it.

We love Mike! A family member has been in the hospital long-term. This is our place to stop every day during our visits. Our favorites are two hot dogs with the works! Beyond that the sausage Burger the steak sandwich, a cheeseburger with grilled onions, these are some of our other favorites we love the onion rings! And the service is really nice too. Because we go so often the staff has come to greet us and knows Our Favorite Beverages. That's a nice feeling. It kind of feels like being in our own small town.

Great food, great prices, and great staff

There are not many great spots like this left. Even though it is not shiny and new, it is a nice, clean place and is locally owned, with friendly staff, and the food served is excellent! We get breakfast here, every day we are in town. Their steak and cheese is as good as any we have had, too! Haven't sampled the entire menu but I suspect everything they serve is excellent! 👍👍
